Spanish Jam

Lyrics: [none]
Music: Grateful Dead

A jam played by the Grateful Dead that was supposedly based on a theme from "Solea" in Miles Davis's "Sketches of Spain." "Spanish Jam" was the name given by tapers. The first Grateful Dead CD to include a version was Dick's Picks Volume 6, where the title was "Spinach Jam" as a humorous variation. But subsequent releases have adopted the "Spanish Jam" title.
